MBC will be announcing big change in their Saturday variety lineup by cancelling the long running ‘We Got Married’and replacing it with MBC Music’s ‘Music and Lyrics.’
An insider at MBC spoke with OSEN on the phone on the 12th, “‘We Got Married’ has been cancelled. The strike made it impossible to film additional episodes and it was decided to cancel the show. In its place ‘Music and Lyrics’ will be broadcasted.”
The insider added, “We are not even sure if we can film the last episode with the current cast. It’s more likely that ‘We Got Married’ will end as is.”
The season 3 of ‘We Got Married’ is currently featuring couples Leeteuk-Kang So Ra and Lee Jang Woo-Ham Eunjung. The ratings of the show were lower than season one and the latest strike put a big dent on the already low ratings.
‘Music and Lyrics’ pairs up an A-List actress with a singer to have them create a special song together. It is a romantic reality program that has already featured Yoon Gun-Park Shin Hye couple and Junho-Kim So Eun couple in its previous episodes, making big news in the entertainment industry with positive reviews. Lee Si Young-Park Jin Heepair will be appearing in the next episode
